Misty Mountains

Alas, we never saw the top of Mr. Ranier. It was beautiful in it's own right, but wet and cloudy.
We stopped by the Dominican church of Blessed Sacrament in Seattle on our way back to my cousin's.

Although it continues to rain, it could be much more disastrous....

After a nine hour drive, we arrived at Rosary Hill Home, the headquarters of the Immaculate Conception Province of our dear Dominican Sisters who originally came to Justice, Illinois, to help the Polish immigrants to the Chicago area.  The Sisters who ten years ago opened their mission in Columbus, Ohio, when I was pastor at St. Patrick's, once made the long trip to visit my father in Margate, NJ.  We will join them for their annual picnic tomorrow after I celebrate Sunday Mass for them.
